AQUMON is an independent digital wealth management solution provider, aiming to make sophisticated investment advice accessible and cost-effective to both institutional and retail clients. Incubated and funded by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, AQUMON’s investors also include Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and Bank of China International.

Since our inception in 2015, AQUMON has partnered with more than 60 financial institutions in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas, ranging from banks, securities houses and asset managers. Some notable cases include Hong Kong’s first Robo Advisory Platform at commercial bank level with CMB Wing Lung Bank, AI China Equity Fund with China Asset Management Company, All-Weather Global Opportunities Fund with Bank of China (Hong Kong) Asset Management, and one of Mainland’s premier Robo Advisors with China Resources Bank. AQUMON’s parent company Magnum Research Limited is licensed with Type 1, 4 & 9 under the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong. We have accumulated abundant experiences in meeting regulatory requirements through our partnerships with institutional clients. In 2017, AQUMON is the first independent Robo Advisor to be accredited by the SFC. In 2019, our partnership with CMB Wing Lung Bank passed the reviewing process by HKMA.

• The direct offering of robo-advisory products to retail investors in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
• AI investment solution: AQUMON offers a wide variety of absolute return investment algorithm. One of the most notable is the AI China Alpha Strategy with ChinaAMC. AQUMON also partners with Bank of China Asset Management (HK), in the management of its All-weather opportunities fund.
• Robo-advisory solution provider: AQUMON offers white-label solutions to financial institutions in Mainland and Hong Kong.
