Where are confirmed COVID cases? WATI guides you on your way

Corporates and the public got into the habit of closely following COVID-related news in the last couple of years, keeping track of the buildings and areas with confirmed cases. However, how can we obtain timely information from many sources? No worries! Cyberport incubation programme alumnus WATI developed and launched a customer engagement tool with integration to WhatsApp. After users input a location or share their real-time location on whatsapp, WATI would show a list of surrounding buildings where there are confirmed or suspected COVID cases. The system is updated every 20 to 30 minutes with the latest official data. WATI’s usage significantly surged during the recent outbreak of the fifth COVID-19 wave.

WATI has features such as team inbox, mass personalised messages, and AI-enabled replies to provide timely and easy handling of the vast amount of communication on WhatsApp. The interface is simple and intuitive, and there is no need to code for simple updates. WATI has already attracted several rounds of investments and currently has more than 3000 corporate clients from over 50 countries or territories. Some clients are insurance companies, e-commerce platforms and small and medium-sized businesses. WATI is planning to double the size of its team, gearing up for overseas markets and service expansion.
