Evercare fights COVID-19 at elderly care homes

The fifth wave of the pandemic has caused numerous outbreaks in elderly care homes across the city, which call for more support for the elderlies and their caregivers. Teaming up with testing laboratories recognised by the Hong Kong SAR Government, Cyberport incubatee Evercare has been providing complimentary door-to-door COVID-19 testing services for the residents and staff of elderly care homes. Samples collected by Evercare’s professional medical team would be sent to the recognised labs for analysis. Putting the Braving the Epidemic spirit in action, Evercare will continue to provide elderly care homes with COVID-19 testing services so that adequate care and arrangement can be made timely.

In addition to the door-to-door testing and vaccination services, Evercare has been matching patients and elderlies with professional caregivers through its digital platform since 2016. The professional in-home nursing service relieves the burden and pressure of those in need.
