Bowtie’s coverage expanded to at-home rapid COVID tests

Many people are used to taking COVID tests during the fifth wave of the pandemic, in which some of the RAT (Rapid Antigen Tests) or PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) tests may have to be self-paid. In light of this, Cyberport incubation programme alumnus and Hong Kong’s first virtual insurance company Bowtie expanded their insurance coverage to those taking COVID tests during the peak of Hong Kong's fifth wave to provide timely support for insurance policyholders to fight the pandemic!

When it comes to reimbursements, there are no limitations in terms of the brand or medical institutions where policyholders take the tests. Policyholders currently staying overseas can also make an online claim following standard procedure. With the usage of technology, Bowtie is committed to simplifying insurance claim processing to improve consumer experience, rendering its insurance services more customer-focused.

As Hong Kong’s digital technology flagship and incubator for entrepreneurship, Cyberport provides support in technology to facilitate digital transformation in the industry. With such support, startups nurtured by Cyberport will continue improving their services and consumer experience. Learn more about Bowtie’s coverage on COVID tests here: https://bit.ly/3wUyPh3
