The digital entertainment gala Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong (ACGHK) is returning this 23-26 July, after cancellation last year due to pandemic. As Hong Kong’s foremost incubator of digital entertainment and esports talent, Cyberport will be leading a troop of 20 promising game start-ups to this annual mega show to showcase their latest mobile, VR, and 5G game innovations.
Cyberport will also co-host a series of esports competitions to light up Hong Kong’s gaming verve, replete with the good old cheers, claps, and laughter of a live audience.
Three exhibition zones will be set up at the Cyberport Pavilion. The Mobile Game Zone will feature a range of mobile games of various genres:
- adventure games, including Rain Butcher and Urban Legend Hong Kong, created by Cyberport alumni Genuine Studio.
- romance game Heartbeat, developed by Cyberport alumni ZOOMOB.
- simulation game Working Hero of Martial Arts, developed by Add Mission Workshop Limited.
More than that, there will be racing, role-playing, card games and casual games to satisfy different tastes.
Those seeking immersive experiences can head to the VR Zone, where Cyberport alumni VAR LIVE will present its Wildling War that is perfect for families. Or climb into the driver’s seat of Formula Square’s “Real Virtuality” racing game at the eRacing Zone. Thanks to 5G, players will not just race remote-controlled cars in real time – on the tracks at Cyberport –with a driver’s view from first person perspective in real time during the race.
Games aside, Cyberport will partner with the Cyber Games Arena to host a series of nail-biting PS4 FIFA 21 and League of Legends: Wild Rift Hong Kong Open tournaments, and the final will be staged on 23-25 July at ACGHK.
Don’t miss the fun at the Cyberport Pavilion at Booth D-34 in Hall 1 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Join us at ACGHK2021!
