The Cyberport Venture Capital Forum (CVCF) will return on 3 - 4 November to examine the latest trends and new prospects in tech venturing.

This year’s theme “Navigating the New Normal of Tech Venturing” will address the phenomenal impact brought by the pandemic and socio-economic shakeup, upending global businesses and challenging the tech venture funding ecosystem, investors, enterprises, and technopreneurs alike, who strive to map the way forward in a new but nebulous normal.

To help these industry stakeholders navigate through the unprecedented times, CVCF 2020 will gather insights and foresights from over 40 international and local experts from investor, entrepreneurial and enterprise communities on topics ranging from the macro and mega venture trends to the geopolitical impact on funding strategies, cross-border capital flow, China-US trade war reflections, new funding voyages and what drives the next smart deal opportunities.

The integrated CVCF online event platform will host all conference sessions, start-up workshops, innovator showcase, the founder stage (power pitch), investor matching and timeless networking extended over the almost month-long engagement period to generate more opportunities for deal flows, networking, exposure and collaboration.

Under the umbrella of CVCF 2020, the Cyberport co-hosted EdVentures Global Summit and Silicon Dragon 2020  will be staged on 4 November to explore more tech venturing dynamics.  The pitching of the 12 finalists of the EdVentures Global Business Acceleration Fellowship Programme will be featured at the EdVentures Global Summit with sharing of the global EdTech trends, Chinese market developments and opportunities; while the Silicon Dragon will gather leading investors and entrepreneurs to look into the “Tech Titans 2020 & Beyond”.  The CVCF 2020 is also listed event of the Hong Kong Fintech Week.
